Following are terms and conditions and what you can expect when we install your balloons.

How long will my balloons last?

• Balloons are above-all temporary. The life of your installation relies heavily on temperature. We work mostly with air filled balloons. These can last up to 1 month (sometimes more!) if kept indoors in a temperature-controlled environment. In mild temperatures, installed outdoors, they look their best 24-72 hours after installation.

  What about heat?

  Direct Sunlight/Heat: We recommend placing balloons in shaded areas, as direct sunlight can cause them to expand and pop. We don’t recommend they stay outside for more than 30 minutes if the weather is over 85 degrees or with no cloud coverage. If you choose confetti balloons in your garland, those can turn cloudy in heat. Darker colors soak up more heat, so if you want your garland outside, we recommend lighter colors in the summer months. Memphis weather can be brutal on balloons!

  What about wind?

  Wind: We take every precaution to tie/tape our balloons as tightly as possible, but strong gusts of wind are unpredictable and can shift your garland.

  Do you come back to repair?

  We cannot guarantee your balloons will last once we leave your location. Pop Culture Memphis is not held responsible upon leaving your location for vandalism, weather conditions, etc. If we pop your balloon, we will replace it immediately.

  What about helium?

  We do not work with helium often, but it is very sensitive to extreme heat and cold: this means the life span of your balloon could be affected by the temperature of your house or the weather outside. 

  Who takes down the balloons?

  We do not return to breakdown your balloons unless prior arrangements have been made to do so. There is an additional fee for us to strike and remove the balloons. Most of the time, they are easily removed using a pair of scissors to snip them down.

  What about inclement weather?

  We do not climb ladders in rain or severe weather. If your exterior installation is scheduled on a day where it rains or has severe weather, every effort will be made to accommodate you, including installing the day before or rescheduling.

  What about rental items?

  If you are renting a backdrop, stand, or streamers from us, you are agreeing to treat them with care. We will charge the client for any damage to our rental items, including the streamers.

  What is your cancelation policy?

  Full payment in advance is required on all orders to secure the date on our calendar. In order to cancel your event, we require 48 hours notice. Refunds are not issued within 48 hours of event. We will make every possible effort to reschedule your event in our calendar, but we cannot guarantee availability for rescheduled events.

DISCLAIMER

We are not responsible for any damage done to your walls or surfaces by adhesive strips. We prefer to not use any adhesive on walls or surfaces, but if the client requests for us to hang balloons in an area that requires tapes or adhesives, Pop Culture Memphis LLC is not responsible for any residue or damage to surfaces.
